my dude, ralph bakshi is both weird AND gross but he makes a decent cartoon and if there is one thing I am obsessed with its cartoons

I found out about it only after it got funded. I wanna see it, but I also want it to be on DVD. I collect DVDs.

Did you see cool world? It was supposed to be his answer to who framed rodger rabbit, but the studio kinda said
"yeah, we're taking your ideas and gonna make them more marketable."

I actually used it in a public speaking class once and got a B+. I didn't even prepare anything, I just bullshitted about cartoons.

The visuals were awesome, but the story was..... Eh.

Bakshi's original vision was WAY better.

I'm pretty sure he has nothing against trans people. It was played out mostly as a joke.  An offensive joke. Also, (and please don't kill me for this, please) I think that was just a guy dressed as a woman. I'm pretty sure it was someone who gets off to what I'm about to describe.

For anyone who wants to know, there's no plot spoilers, this rough looking construction worker type goes to a bar and a crossdresser seduces him. The guy reaches down her dress and says "WAITAMINUTE, THIS BROAD'S GOT A HARD-ON!!!"

The construction worker starts smacking the crossdresser around and he gets off on it. The bouncer kicks the construction dude out on his ass and the crossdresser starts crying, saying how much fun he...she.... was having.


It was great.


Also he gives someone a blowjob near the end of the film.

There is one scene in Coonskin where these guys get a racist cop drunk, put him in blackface and put him out in front of a bunch of his subordinate cops and they kill him, thinking he's black.

Like, holy fuck.

Also, there's a scene in heavy traffic with this black girl running the bar. Her boss come up and just says:

"It's hard enough for me having a black girl run my bar, but when you start acting like an uptown nigger, LOOK AT ME GODDAMNIT WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU"

Like, shit man. He doesn't pull ANY PUNCHES AT ALL.
