Hey I fought really hard for him to get unbanned in the first place, and neither of these two recent bans of his were from me. I defended him really hard to rachel, and he gave her his word that he was going to be civil, and not use the N-word. Then supposedly he did. I wasn't there for the actual event, I wanna know what the heck changed and if he's ok.

I am trying pretty hard to understand why you are so against channel moderation but you just keep failing to explain it, preferring to hide behind nonsensical metaphors rather than attempt to put something into plain language. Not being able to say the n-word in the main channel of a private network is not the same thing as tyranny.

I'm not in this for the last word dude, I'm trying to figure out how to communicate with you in a way that doesn't involve you insulting me repeatedly for no reason, but it seems to be impossible.
Is this why you're against channel moderation? You just can't help being offensive to others for some reason you can't explain? So you feel unfairly targeted by rules meant to establish a baseline for civil conversation? These are real questions. I don't know what tone you're reading this in but I'm serious about figuring this out.

I tell her rationally when she's crossed a line and she responds by being respectful, and refraining from crossing said line in the future. This is how we solve problems like adults, by talking things out.

The problem with what happened with ceph was such a conversation happened between him and rachel, where he agreed to follow the channel rules and not use the n-word, and then he did. It was a breach of trust. Then he disappeared so I can't even hear his side of what happened. I really would like to defend him but its really hard to when he says one thing then does another and disappears.
I feel like it would be easy for you to use a word other than the n-word when expressing your need to insult someone's intelligence. I still don't understand why you need to do that, btw. I also feel like you're being sort of hypocritical when you complain about emilypi's behaviors, considering how you act in channel a lot of the time. I have no doubt that you are a smart individual who can have nuanced, civilized conversations. I just feel like sometimes your anger, irritation, or frustration gets in the way of your ability to communicate ideas to others.
The difference between the early days of wetfish and now is that rachel has concern for the public image of her network now. She's inviting new users and they are having bad experiences within the first few minutes of joining the main channel. All the slapanus modules have been disabled because one of rachel's new friends was slapanus kicked within ten minutes of her joining. The bank game has a cooldown in #wetfish as well, because people were spamming the channel with it's commands. Loli's are now removed from the wiki on sight. I'm sorry but sometimes things change. Sometimes people realize that pushing people away with irrational abrasiveness inhibits one's ability to make new connections.
Maybe someday you'll be able to come back into #wetfish, if you can show some willpower and refrain from lashing out at people and saying the n-word.

But like you said I'm not going to stifle my own speech just to fit into the echo chamber and pretend I agree with the opinions of the self-appointed thought police.

I have already told rachel and others directly that I don't want to come back to #wetfish. It's a sad husk of its former self. If I were unbanned already I wouldn't even notice.
As for the "rules", the only rule that was active when I was there was "Don't be a dick" which is basically the root problem. Selective enforcement of a completely open ended and arbitrary rule makes enforcement less about what is said, and more about who it was that said it.
If I weren't banned for calling snek a "n-word" then I would have been banned for calling him a retard, or for stating the fact that according to FBI statistics, blacks are at least twice as likely to be murderers than whites.
(which is a fact, but we're still talking about a number that is in the thousands and represents a difference of something like 0.1% vs 0.2% of the US population, but I'm still not making any plans on moving to Detroit and starting a life there)

No, I don't test people when we start to talk to see if they're worth talking to. Testing people in such a way, acting offensive on purpose to see how they respond and if they're worthy of socialization, seems kind of manipulative. Not really something I'm into. Also, a social test with an insincere premise seems like it would have skewed results. If they are not a secretly bigoted person, why would anyone act like one to judge people's reactions to such things? If you're afraid of being assumed incorrectly of bigotry when talking about controversial subjects, why not make an effort to talk in a way that doesn't sound bigoted?
I just assume anyone is worth talking to, because I believe 1. everybody has something interesting to say about things that they're interested in (something I could talk about at some length but I'm pretty sure you don't care), and 2. respect is NOT something that has to be earned, its something a person deserves by default and then gets taken away when one acts like a dick/jerk/asshole for no good reason. I don't automatically trust people to 100% have my interests in mind though, that'd be ridiculous. I just prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt when given the opportunity. And yeah it burns me sometimes but I feel like the friendships I have made through extending my trust to others far outnumber the people who make me regret trusting them.
Everyone has different ways of interacting with others. When I meet someone with an opposing opinion, I'd prefer to talk about it like this, rather than deciding "well they're obviously shitty" and writing them off forever. You can learn a lot from someone if, instead of getting confrontational, you just ask them about it. Even though sometimes it can come across as being unintentionally patronizing, I feel like its important to at least try to understand where other people are coming from. Everyone's choices and opinions are a culmination of their life experiences up to that point. I feel like rejecting people based on judgments I've made about them before actually getting to know them fosters miscommunication and distrust, and is bad for us as a society. looks significantly at shitty tumblr callout culture.

Not without running into the same problems I've already highlighted. The more specific a rule is, the less likely it is to be enforced arbitrarily. I always assumed that when rachel said the "don't be a dick" rule would only be a placeholder for future, concrete rules, that that would actually happen. Unfortunately it never did, and nobody knows what is actually allowed vs. what is not allowed aside from what someone may have said weeks or months ago.

They have the same meaning for me, but apparently that got lost in translation. Obviously I talk to everybody. That doesn't mean I personally value the communication I have with everyone equally.
It's not about "rejecting people", as you say, but it's about knowing how likely someone is to be able to maintain a rational and productive conversation about something. It's about not spending energy that isn't worth spending. We've had a very long conversation in this thread, but for the most part I believe it was worthwhile. If we were talking about racial politics, however, it would not be. It's not that I wouldn't want to go down that rabbit hole with you, specifically. It's that you wouldn't respond well, it wouldn't go anywhere, and neither of us would get anything out of it.
Sometimes I like to say something that is controversial in a public channel, and use that as a sort of lure to figure out who is and is not capable of actually having a real debate. It's not about who agrees with what I say, it's about who can be a good sport and have some fun.
My personal Hell would be me stuck in a room with only people who agree with everything that I say.
Sometimes the most controversial statements provoke the most interesting (to me) conversations.

Overall, I'd say you're still acting like a dick. It's not limited to the mean things you say to people, but also your tendency to make assertions about others.
