In looking for information on an old guitar, I stumbled across this gem: http://www.rothguitar.com
The Wayback Machine shows that the page hasn't changed much since the first snap in 1998: https://web.archive.org/web/19981205051406/http://members.aol.com:80/Rothguitar/R.html

Found this old internet site which is still running! It's for a video game (made for windows XP) where the entire game world is composed of static. You can't see anything if you take a screenshot of the game, but when you are playing it you are able to see objects moving around.

I played for about twenty minutes and now I can't focus quite right. Would play again.

I think it's time for us to give it up again. Real life will become the realm for weirdos and nerds to explore as their space away from the rest of the world.
