Title: What kinda board games do you like to play?

I've been really into tabletop games most of my life. I've played MTG EDH for 12 years, and I love so many game mediums, but board games have my heart.
Currently my favorites are:
-Godsforge (w/ expansions)
-Duel (w/ expansions)
-Takanoko
-Lotus
- Terraforming Mars
-Catan (Catan veteran over here!)
-Dominion

Getting people together to play boardgames gets harder and harder each year.
I like Race For The Galaxy (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/28143) but it takes some teaching.
If you want cyberpunk MagicTheGathering, give Netrunner (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/124742) a try. It's 1v1, but asymmetric play!
The last couple of times we could get people together, we played Dominant Species (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/62219)

Mozai, I thoroughly enjoyed System Crash (https://store.steampowered.com/app/481180/System_Crash/), it's a cyberpunk ccg.
Getting together a group of wetfish for game night might be fun.

You know, I've had a hard time getting a consistent group to play board games these days too. However, having a girlfriend makes it easier, we just play board games with our roommate all the time. Prior to dating my current girlfriend, I was setting up times to play board games with groups of people... but that how I found out about the poly couple board game pipeline. Lmfao! Needless to say, the board games nights I was setting up, mostly just turned into 3way - 5way with trans people. Rofl.

I would love to organize a board game night with wetfish folks! To be clear, for board games, not sex, OK! Lol. The times I've recently done successful, non sex related board game nights, I've done with 14-22 people. We just get groupsbof 4-7 and play our own game, breaking into groups. After a while we all come back together and play some large game where everyone can be involved, like sharades or a who done it or cards against humanity type.

I had a board game idea called "Get to Sleep at a Descent Hour". The game board would be made from a bunch of modular room boards: living room, master bedroom, halls, bathroom, kitchen, etc. Everyone starts in the living room and you have to complete a task in each room and make it to the master bedroom before anyone else. I had a couple ideas for movement and other player actions, as well as systems for game events, but nothing concrete.

A few times a year in Montreal there's a board-game swap meet. Latest one was just announced. I can show what I got in the last haul -- these aren't recommendations, just showing off. "Muse" is a knock off of "Dixit" and I can recommend "Dixit."

It's basically 2 player 7-wonders. Highly recommend! This picture is with both expansion. The video here is just the base game. (I honestly think it's better than OG 7-wonders)
