Shitpost Central is for being an asshat This is more "General Discussion" territory. See if rachel will move it for you.
sorreyyy
There's nothing to be sorry about. I'm not criticizing you, just the opposite. I'm saying that this post is worthy of serious discussion and commentary. It deserves better than the sluts and scallywags of Shitpost Central (which, admittedly are you and me, but at least mousemath will have better diggs in "General Discussion".)

Fuck, use lemon juice and battery acid, if it means none of this. The only thing more torturous is being forced to learn Grammer!
Do you have dyscalculia (https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/23949-dyscalculia)? It's a math based learning disorder.
If it's any consolation, there are plenty of things that I'm bad at that many people seem to have natural abilities at. For instance, I have a motor planning disorder that makes it hard to articulate my body correctly.
Anyway, sorry for getting off topic. Mouse, I will take a look at your work when I have more time.

Title: the real beaver stuff

BB(5) has been confirmed!! Unfortunately, it looks like BB(6) is the first useful one, and the lower bound right now is 10^10^... (continue for 10 million ^10's) which would take longer than the lifespan of the universe to run (heat death of the universe before the BB(6) machine finishes)

I've been recommended that I look into the Busy Beaver problem, and now I see why! Fascinating video :) thanks for sharing. I'm currently working my way through Abstract Algebra and then I think I'll have the knowledge to tackle Turing machines :D. I'm definitely interested in cellular automata and am looking forward to researching that in the future!!!!!!!

Heyo! its ya girl, math anyways, i have a midterm coming up and am going to post my pre-midterm problems here (Im not supposed to share them, so if you're in JOSHUA GROCHOWS FALL 2025 CSCI3434 THEORY OF COMPUTATION LOOK AWAY), but nobody here gives a shit and its actually really good for review to have all the shit in one thread, so you get them anyways

the 7 tape combination was fun!! it's close enough to a precious set (see the CA problem set also posted here) that I wasn't struggling with concepts and could just sit down and write it out
