Title: Normalcy Normalization
Post by: rachel on August 21, 2022, 07:15:39 pm
Are you a neurodivergent person? A little gay? ADHD? Do you suffer from depression? Do you have trouble making friends?

Have you tried being normal?

It's okay to be normal

It's the official diagnosis recommended by Doctor Kate

Normal is relative to your social context.  "If everybody is exceptional, then nobody is."

What is the imaginary context that people are using to say "suffered depression once" isn't normal?  or "has trouble paying the bills each month" isn't normal?
