Years and years ago! This was Idgie, she died in maybe 2018. She wasn't mine, she was a dear friend's. Said friend got her from a local pet shop and suspected that she had been taken out of the Amazon. The pet shop, at the time, warned my friend that she was an extremely aggressive snake, and that they couldn't handle her without being bit. The two of us, over months, socialized her and she eventually came to trust the two of us completely (but would still immediately strike 90% of other people if they showed the slightest sign of fear or intimidation). She'd crawl all over us, though, and trusted me so much that she even let me help her shed one time when she was struggling. My friend eventually moved to New Mexico, and Idgie got stuck while trying to escape her enclosure and was found dead. Poor girl. :(
