How much of the experience of dog ownership depends on the dumb luck personality of your dog? How much can you realistically mold your dog into a good dog?
In other words, some dogs are assholes, or dumb, or dumb assholes. Other dogs are great. How much does training play a part in it? Does training even matter if you're not getting a puppy?
