It's very floppy on the inside. The hard shell is designed to protect the soft floppy disk inside. If you pull back the metal flap (cyber vulva) then you can see the soft magnetic floppy disk underneath

The really big ones were from the 1960s, as technology got more advanced the floppy disks got smaller. Now we have SD cards that store more data than a million floppy disks combined
