Baxter got some sort of insect bite / bee sting last week and he kept on scratching at the wound so we had to put him in the cone of shame. He was acting very depressed ever since; not moving around very much just laying on the floor wallowing in cat depression, unable to lick his own butthole.

This morning we finally took the cone off and he's been sitting there licking himself for over an hour straight.
imagine if it felt like ur body was incredibly filthy with an itch that u couldnt scratch for days on end
