i really like the disney imagineering

it truly is one of the most unique challenges in the world, engineering limitations not just cost and durability but also artistic consistency

and the animatronics aren't creepy! (once they're finished)

so a fun thing about fully automated milking parlors - the cow can walk in any time it wants, get milked three times a day if it likes! it costs about 10k a cow to install.

usually they're replacing old pumping parlors where there's a machine to suck out the milk but the farmer still has to hook up the teats

for some reason, milk production almost always goes down when they switch to fully automated parlors. the cows don't like the robots squeezing their tits. they want humans putting the clamps on. weird, huh?
