what will 2030 be like?

probably about the same as it is today

giant corporations controlling even more of our lives, using their money and influence to control the government from the inside out

people have no direction or sense of purpose with the constant erosion of our culture and religions

people don't give a fuck about science or the environment

no flying cars

but hey spacex will probably have a moon base

Maybe not 2030, but...
The abstract wars between rich people will have since concluded, leaving a sole, amoral soul as it's victor. Technology advances to the point where real life is almost as malleable as virtual reality, and virtual reality is indistinguishable to the human senses from reality. Thanks to the advent of artificial superintelligence, the near-limitless creation, destruction, pain and pleasure of every soul other than the amoral victor is the result of their desires.
