We WERE talking about ceph here, but if you want to start talking about me then I feel this needs to be made very clear. I don't care about the word itself, I don't really use it all that often. I have seen emilypi use it on several occasions, and just recently saw emilypi bully RasAlGhoul for being "off-white" and implying that he should be ashamed of his skin color.

That's super not cool and makes my skin crawl. I'm not saying they should be banned or anything, but you should be aware of the actual wolves in your hen house.

Yeah I'm aware that emilypi talks a lot of shit. I also speak with emilypi about her behavior on occasion. I tell her rationally when she's crossed a line and she responds by being respectful, and refraining from crossing said line in the future. This is how we solve problems like adults, by talking things out.

The problem with what happened with ceph was such a conversation happened between him and rachel, where he agreed to follow the channel rules and not use the n-word, and then he did. It was a breach of trust. Then he disappeared so I can't even hear his side of what happened. I really would like to defend him but its really hard to when he says one thing then does another and disappears.

I feel like it would be easy for you to use a word other than the n-word when expressing your need to insult someone's intelligence. I still don't understand why you need to do that, btw. I also feel like you're being sort of hypocritical when you complain about emilypi's behaviors, considering how you act in channel a lot of the time. I have no doubt that you are a smart individual who can have nuanced, civilized conversations. I just feel like sometimes your anger, irritation, or frustration gets in the way of your ability to communicate ideas to others.

The difference between the early days of wetfish and now is that rachel has concern for the public image of her network now. She's inviting new users and they are having bad experiences within the first few minutes of joining the main channel. All the slapanus modules have been disabled because one of rachel's new friends was slapanus kicked within ten minutes of her joining. The bank game has a cooldown in #wetfish as well, because people were spamming the channel with it's commands. Loli's are now removed from the wiki on sight. I'm sorry but sometimes things change. Sometimes people realize that pushing people away with irrational abrasiveness inhibits one's ability to make new connections.

Maybe someday you'll be able to come back into #wetfish, if you can show some willpower and refrain from lashing out at people and saying the n-word.

I wouldn't count on it though. Not that I don't believe that you have the capability but rather I don't think you want to, so you won't. ‾\(ツ)/‾
