made a backup of the wetfish colocated server a couple months ago cause of a RAID failure. All the data survived but I had to go into the datacenter to replace a drive

A fresh start for an ex data hoarder.

The CIA was going to give me a new identity, but I guess it was the headmate CIA not the real one.

Maybe I’ll just have everything in the cloud going forward.

I'm late to the party.  I backed-up (mysql database dump & tarball) four wordpress sites before upgrading the core software from v5.x to v6.x.  The backups were too big for the machine they were living inside, had to send the backups to my other server.
(actually they're backed up every night to Amazon S3 but it's a pain to get it out from there -- it's for disaster recovery only.)
