I'm not, but these are extreme circumstances. Under normal conditions, yes, going outside and meeting new people at social events is the best way to meet new people to date. My parents met at a bar

My parents met at a bar too! My father lied and said he was older than he was! I think it might subconsciously be why I never ever want to sleep with or date anyone I meet in a bar...ever.
