grift - to engage in petty or small-scale swindling.
people doing swindling involving mushroom things makes them worthy of a kick in the dick.
If you do indeed consider it to be a grift, that is my stance. If it's not a grift and it was just presented as such, less so.
When I think of the phrase -grift- I think of traditionally portrayed grifts in various types of media. Such as -snake-oil salesmen- promising cure-alls and panceas from what is generally a toxic mix of whatever volatile compounds and some components with intoxicating properties someone is taking in the hopes of curing something that is shortening the length or negatively impacting the quality of their life or causing them a great and constant pain.
More socially acceptable grifts are also generally dick kick worthy, such as the types of people who pretend to be psychic or read palms or phrenologists. Convincing those who are suffering from what in many cases could be a life time or years of grief and pain over the loss of a loved one or a desperation for closure. These people too are deserving of a tippy-toed-ball-tap but in many cases to a lesser extent, because if you're getting your financial or relationship advice from some lady with a head wrap and some candles or for $10.99 per minute over the phone from a late night TV commercial perhaps you should lose a little money, as a treat. But grifters would also categorize the umbrella of people exploiting the old/senile/mentally fragile from their social security and retirement savings and the types of people who perpetuate bullshit like the home shopping network.
Either way not enough dicks getting kicked in 2023. make america kick dicks again.
