ive been away from home three weeks and i finally get home and i'm suddenly sad

Since depression is almost always accompanied by sleep problems, here's a trick that sometimes works for me when I can't get to sleep.  If I can't get to sleep in like an hour after I go to bed, I'll try to go to sleep on the couch.  It's like my body is bored of my bed, but the couch is like a vacation.  Once I start to fall asleep, I move back to my bed and conk out.

If I posted every time I thought about it, rachel would need some DDoS mitigation cuz it would be overloaded.
